Our aim is to shift social and economic development efforts toward proven results and performance-driven approaches. This can be achieved by working with local leaders to bring about early, significant results which unleash implementation capacity and pave the way for sustained impact.
We are a not-for-profit organization that was established and incubated in 2007 by Robert H. Schaffer & Associates (RHS&A), a 40-year old management consulting firm based in the USA.
Our team builds on the work that senior partners at RHS&A have been pioneering in African and other developing countries over the past eight years: helping governments and communities achieve dramatic results in HIV/AIDS prevention, primary school enrollment, family planning, and other basic health, education, water, and related services.
We engage directly with developing country clients to help them accelerate the implementation and impact of their development projects, programs, and policies, using the principles and tools of the Rapid Results Approach - then help build sustainable, local markets for such services where local demand is met by independent local supply.
In sum, we act as midwives giving birth to a more powerful approach to social and economic development that is dominated by local suppliers - NOT US.
