Alrien Van Der Walt
Alrien is a Rapid Results Catalyst for the Rapid Results Institute and owner of iResults, a Consulting company focusing on supporting leaders with implementation, integration, innovation using the Rapid Results approach and Theory of Constraints principles.
Under her guidance. more than 45 leadership teams have achieved significant change through the accelerated implementation of strategic goals, turnaround plans and business improvement objective. Alrien has supported teams in South Africa, Chile, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Nigeria, Canada, Dubai and Ireland.
Working with the RRI, Alrien help introduce the 100-Day Challenge approach at the Ministry of Health in Nigeria as well as facilitating the drafting and testing a Social protection policy for the Prime Minister’s office. In the UAE she was on the team training coaches on the Rapid Results approach, as part of the Government Accelerator programme sponsored by the Prime Minister’s Office.
Prior to founding iResults Alrien was employed by Anglo American, a global mining company, from 2007-2015 where she held a number of senior positions providing performance improvement and implementation support. During this period Alrien was responsible for development and management of a change management and performance improvement function within the Technical Solutions Division using the Rapid Results approach together with providing implementation support as part of the Asset Optimisation process. Alrien was a recipient of an Anglo American Applause reward for partnership in acknowledgement of change management and improvement initiatives facilitated.
Before joining Anglo American Alrien worked as an independent consultant at an Engineering, infrastructure consulting company, a Mechanised mining company, in the steel industry and hospitality sector.
Alrien was born and raised in South Africa. She has a Masters in Engineering (Mining) and Post Graduate Diploma Mining – Cum Laude from the University of Witwatersrand together with an Honours BA- Political Science and BA Political Science & Psychology – Cum Laude from the North West University
