Change In 100 Days

We have supported frontline teams across the globe to achieve unreasonably ambitious results. Here is just a sample of what can be accomplished in 100 Days!

In the United Kingdom...

  • National Health System (NHS) teams reduced unplanned hospital admissions by 40%.

In Brazil...

  • 80% reduction in fire evacuation time, from 12 minutes to 2 minutes.

  • 60% reduction in employee injury absenteeism leading to a 12% increase in productivity.

  • By creating more effective methods for transporting chemicals, one company team reduced chemical exposure in the workplace by 70% and cut chemical costs by 10%.

  • By changing assembly line processes to prevent worker injury, one company team reduced absenteeism and saved the company up to $120,000 per year.

In Turkey…

  • 50% reduction of workplace accidents per month.

  • By engaging the entire workforce, launching an awareness campaign, and establishing a hotline, one company saw a 500% increase in gas leak identification calls (previously 0% of workers reported gas leaks, leading to significant health and safety risks and lost revenue).

  • By identifying evacuation hazards and improving evacuation procedures, one team was able to reduce evacuation time by 80%.

In the United States…

  • Over five years, RRI has helped 80 U.S. communities house 150,000 homeless Americans, including 40,000 veterans.

  • In Cleveland, Austin, and LA, 428 youth exited homelessness in 100 days, with each community surpassing the ambitious goal that they set.

  • In six communities in North Carolina, 277 veterans exited homelessness in 100 days.

  • The number of veterans experiencing homelessness in the 25 Cities decreased by 47% from 2013-2016, compared with a 27% decrease in other cities in the US.   Several factors make this 20 percentage point change even more impressive:
    • RRI coaching support helped 25 Cities initiative communities do more with what they have to achieve their results without the benefit of any new program funds.

    • The communities that were part of the 25 Cities Initiative were not self-selected. Also, they were chosen in part because they were 'magnet cities' that had to contend with the largest inflow of veterans into homelessness.  Despite this, there was a 20 percentage point lift over communities that did not participate in the Initiative.

    • While 25 Cities Initiative was underway (2014-2016), there were other coaching programs in play in at least 50 other cities and lots of spillover effect from the 25 Cities to these other cities.

In the United Arab Emirates…

  • 63% reduction in road deaths on the five most dangerous roads in the UAE, saving 24 lives and 174 million UAE Dirham.

  • 16% reduction in emissions from Emirates Global Aluminum factory, equivalent to annual emissions of 460,000 cars.

  • 27 patents filed in the UAE, representing a seven-fold increase compared to the same period last year.

  • 100% of Emirati children on waiting lists enrolled in public kindergartens in Dubai, thereby eliminating a waitlist of 435 names.

  • 1,061 Emirati nationals hired in the private financial sector.

In China...

  • One team reduced evacuation time of 1,266 workers from over 10 minutes to under 3 minutes by engaging the entire workforce, revising the emergency evacuation plan, launching an awareness campaign, and conducting a series of trainings.

  • One team was able to reduce ergonomic risks by 75% in 100 days by conducting an ergonomics risk assessment, adjusting work-spaces, adapting work procedures, and conducting awareness seminars and training.
